The Art of Home Maintenance
Elegant and well-groomed eyebrows are now easier to keep tamed than you think. While we always recommend booking a treatment at Shavata Singh for a brow shape, sometimes life gets in the way, making at-home brow maintenance a necessity.
The good news is that with the right techniques and a little patience, you can master the art of accurate tweezing from the comfort of your own home. This should be for maintenance only and not alter the shape of the brow.
Firstly, brush the hairs into shape so you can clearly see where you need to tweeze any stray hairs, giving yourself a good base to start with. Our Eyebrow Brush is a dual-sided tool to keep eyebrows groomed before and after.
Before tweezing, wash your face with warm water and a gentle cleanser to soften the skin. This will make plucking less painful and more effective.
Take your Precision Tweezers and hold the skin taut near the area you want to tweeze to reduce discomfort. Grip a single hair at the base and pull in the direction of hair growth, and do it swiftly to minimize pain. Focus on removing stray hairs that fall outside your desired brow shape.
Once you have re-freshed your brows, it’s important to give your skin a burst of hydration. Use our Brow & Lash Strengthener to give your skin some much needed TLC. Infused with castor oil, which has been used as a natural hair growth stimulant for sparse brows and eyelashes. It’s high in Omega 6 fatty acids, vitamin E and other moisturizing minerals that support healthy hair growth.
Our insider tip: the soothing rollerball applicator doubles up as a relaxation tool. Lie back and roll over temples to help you drift off to sleep.
Lots of love,
Shavata Singh
