At Shavata Singh Brows & Lashes, your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities. That's why we require a patch test at least 48 hours before your brow or lash tint or lift appointment. This simple precaution ensures that your skin does not react negatively to our product, reducing the risk of irritation or allergic reactions. Even if you've had a tint, lift or lamination before, sensitivities can develop over time, making patch testing an important step before each treatment.

How to Perform Your Patch Test at Home.

1) Choose a Test Area: Select a discreet spot, such as behind your ear or on your inner forearm. Ensure the area is clean and dry before carrying the patch test.

2) Tint Patch Test: If you are testing for tint combine the two products together and mix thoroughly using a cotton bud. Allow it to dry naturally over 24 hours.

3) Brow Lamination & Lash Lift Patch Test: If you're testing for a brow lamination or lash lift, do not mix the samples and apply separately. This can be left on the skin for 10 minutes and then wiped off.

4) Monitor for 24 Hours: Keep an eye on the area for any signs of irritation, such as redness, itching, swelling, or discomfort.

You will be sent a consultation form to sign via email, this must be signed before your treatment. If you have not had a patch test 48 hours before of your treatment, you will still be charged, unless cancelled.

Please note, we need 7 working days to receive your patch test and to also be able to carry out the test. Please do not to book your appointment until you have carried out the test.
