THREADING
Threading is an ancient method of hair removal which originated in the Indian subcontinent, spread through the Middle East and Far East, and is now gaining popularity in the West. With the mere use of a pure cotton thread, brow hairs are removed whilst creating a shape. The thread is rolled over untidy hairlines, and the hair is plucked from the follicle. Our Brow Artists are expertly trained to create the ultimate personalized “perfect arch” to frame your face. Unlike tweezing where a single hair is pulled out each time, threading removes an entire row of hair resulting in a straighter line. The top layers of skin are not peeled or traumatized leading to less irritation and damage to the skin. The entire face can be threaded, resulting in a smoother and younger look. Make-up glides on more easily when facial hair is fully removed.
Discomfort depends on every individual sensitivity in the areas that will be threaded. Just for example, people find the top of their eyebrow being threaded, a lot less painful than the bottom of their brow. Luckily, there is a way to lessen the pain!
Hairs will typically stay away for two to four weeks.
